SECTOR 4 – 3D PRINTING DESIGN
DLP TYPE 3D PRINTING MACHINE
A DLP (Digital Light Processing) type 3D printing machine with a build volume of 20x60x150mm or more can be used to create small to medium-sized objects. The XY resolution of 80 micron or less allows for high-quality prints with fine details. DLP printing process uses a liquid photopolymer resin that is cured by light. DLP printing can produce high-quality prints with fine details.
FDM TYPE 3D PRINTING MACHINE
A FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) type 3D printing machine with a build volume of 200 x 200 x 250 mm or more can be used to create medium to large-sized objects. The XY resolution of 200 microns or less allows for reasonably high-quality prints with good surface finish. FDM printing process uses thermoplastic filament that is melted and extruded layer by layer to create the printed object. FDM printing can produce functional and durable parts.
3D HANDHELD SCANNER FOR RE-ENGINEERING
Reverse engineering is a process that involves measuring a physical object and reconstructing it as a 3D model to recover the design intent—a perfect reconstruction of the original design—in terms of simple analytical surfaces (planes, cylinders, etc.)
ANYCUBIC WASH & CURE MACHINE
The ANYCUBIC Wash and Cure Machine 2.0 is a 2 in 1 UV washing and curing station designed for use with Mars Photon LCD/DLP/SLA 3D printer models. It includes a rotary curing turntable and washing bucket, which are both useful features for cleaning and curing printed parts.
